基于语料库的近义词对比研究——以influence和affect为例

摘要


本文使用WordSmith Tools检索工具，收集《治国理政》英译本中的部分内容建立小型语料库，基于此语料库，对influence和affect两个近义词从搭配词、类联接、语义韵三个方面分别进行研究。研究发现，（1）在搭配词方面，influence和affect存在明显差异，分别以名词和动词的形式呈现，分别以the和that为显著搭配词。（2）这对近义词各自有两种类联接形式。（3）influence具有明显的积极语义韵，而affect具有明显的消极语义韵。该研究为近义词辨析提供了一定的启示。
