用有机农业更可持续地养活世界的战略
摘要
机农业农艺特征的粮食系统模型来分析有机农业在可持续粮食系统中可以发挥的作用。在这里,我们表明 100%转化
为有机农业需要比传统农业更多的土地,但会减少氮过剩和杀虫剂的使用。然而,再加上可耕地的粮食浪费和与粮
食竞争的饲料的减少,以及相应减少的动物产品的生产和消费,有机农业的土地利用仍低于参考情景。温室气体排
放等其他指标也有所改善,但充足的氮供应具有挑战性。除了关注生产之外,可持续粮食系统还需要解决浪费、作
物-草-畜牧业相互依存关系和人类消费问题。相应的战略都不需要全面实施,它们的部分实施相结合可以带来更
可持续的粮食未来。
