阿瑟·米勒戏剧净化机制与现实意义

摘要


本文以亚里士多德悲剧理论为视角,分析《推销员之死》中威利·洛曼的悲剧形象,探讨剧作对古典悲剧范
式的继承与革新。继承层面,威利的牺牲精神与道德底色契合古典悲剧英雄特质,为观众“怜悯”情感提供伦理支
撑;革新层面,米勒将主人公设定为资本主义异化下的小人物,以其性格矛盾触发“恐惧”,并将悲剧根源从个人过
失拓展至社会制度。剧作由此激活“怜悯——恐惧——净化”的审美链条,推动观众由个体道德自省走向社会批判,
完成古典悲剧向现代性批判的范式转换。
